Corinne Magid is the Division A judge for the Jefferson County Court in
Colorado.
Gov. Jared Polis appointed Corinne Magid to the Jefferson County Court in the First Judicial District. Magid fills a vacancy created by the appointment of Ryan Stuart to the 18th Judicial District Court. Magid has been the presiding judge for the municipal courts of the Cities of Golden and Northglenn since January 2014 and June 2014, respectively.
Education
Stuart received a bachelor's degree from Stanford University, a master's in education from Harvard University, and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment, Stuart was a district court magistrate for the 1st Judicial District. He has also served as a deputy district attorney in the same district, and an associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs and Brownstein Hyatt & Farber.
Judge Stuart was appointed to the Jefferson County Court in August, 2012. His immediately preceding position was as District Court Magistrate for the First Judicial District, Jefferson County. Judge Stuart received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Since his appointment, Judge Stuart has participated in a national program focused on handling domestic violence cases, as well as other appropriate continuing education programs. He has continued to involve himself in community service activities such as support for school/parent organizations and high school mock trial competitions.
