Sunday, September 10th, 2017Woman suspected of DUI after driving on SMART train tracks
A 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Rohnert Park on Saturday after police said she drove 70 feet down a set of train tracks causing delays to the new SMART train line.
The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit system temporarily ground to a halt Saturday after a Santa Rosa motorist suspected of driving under the influence veered off the road and onto the SMART train tracks north of Rohnert Park Expressway, officials said.
According to Rohnert Park Police, 23-year-old Tyra Ingalls said she was driving west on Rohnert Park Expressway when another unidentified vehicle began swerving, causing her to leave the roadway.
Ingalls’ car came to rest 70 feet down the train tracks, stuck parallel with one of the rails.
SMART officials were on the scene at the time of the incident, police said, and halted all train service as a tow truck removed the car from the tracks. No passengers were put at risk during the incident.
An investigation determined that Ingalls was driving under the influence of alcohol or another controlled substance, with a blood-alcohol level of .263 percent — three times the legal limit, police said.
Saturday, September 9th, 2017Nick Nolte has been taking GHB 'for four years'
Nick Nolte has been taking the date rape drug GHB for "four years".
The 76-year-old actor - who starred in '48 Hours' alongside Eddie Murphy - was arrested in 2002 for driving under the influence of alcohol and the drug, but he's now admitted to being a regular user of the narcotic.
The actor said: "I've been taking GHB for four years and I've never been raped."
Despite checking into rehab, the actor continued drinking on and off until he stopped for good.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, he explained: "Now I can have drink and stop, but I used to fill the gaps between adrenaline rushes with booze and drugs."
While starring in acclaimed director Ang Lee's 'Hulk', the actor was unable to remember a line for the first 10 days.
Recalling the surreal experience, Nick said: "I started so high that I couldn't remember a line for the first 10 days.
"And Ang came up and said 'do you think it's time we string two words together?' And I said 'just about'."
Nick - who has a 31-year-old son called Brawley with his third wife Rebecca Linger and a nine-year-old daughter by his current wife Clytie Lane - also confessed being famous can make people feel lonely.
He shared: "Fame is a parenthesis you live in and when you die they close those parentheses.
"Then you get a real definition of who you were. It's living under the spotlight. Your mistakes are going to be seen and then they'll be glorified in not a positive way.
"It's a lonelier kind of life than I think anonymity is. It also teaches you how much privacy is valued and how much it is really what the citizens of the world would prefer to have rather than constantly being scrutinised by cameras and questions."
Friday, September 8th, 2017Fitchburg man faces OUI after allegedly fleeing traffic stop

Fitchburg search ends in drug charges

Jason A. Page, 32, of 196 High St. Apt. 2, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of possessing a Class A and Class B substance, possessing a Class B substance with intent to distribute, and distributing a Class B substance, according to court documents.
Law enforcement officials from Fitchburg police, the North Worcester County Drug Task Force, and state police forced their way into the apartment Friday morning, according to a police report of the raid.

Police used a K-9 officer to search the apartment. In the master bedroom, police allegedly found a satchel holding a container filled with crack and powder cocaine, according to the report.
Police allegedly uncovered another plastic container in the kitchen. It was filled with a substance Page told police was a form of MDMA known as "molly."

Tuesday, September 5th, 2017Wayne Rooney drink drive girl confesses pair 'had a kiss' after footballer asked if her boobs were real
Wayne Rooney's drink drive girl has revealed the pair kissed after the footballer asked her if her boobs were real after a ten hour booze bender.
Office worker Laura Simpson was with Wayne when he was arrested by cops after they got a taxi to her VW Beetle - she later said she was too drunk to remember where they were stopped.
The pair necked Prosecco and vodka at the fashionable Bubble Room cocktail bar - Wayne had already been boozing in Piccolino in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
Lettings office manager Laura told MailOnline: "He kept admiring my clingy top and asking what size they were, saying "Are they real?" We had a kiss, a hug and some banter, harmless fun. I'm not a marriage wrecker."
Simpson, a lettings officer, said Rooney was 'p***ed off' and 'really worried' when police pulled them over - though admitted she didn't recall where they were at the time.
She told The Sun: “I didn’t know what to make of it, it all happened so fast. It was a whirlwind. I don’t know if it’s because I was that drunk but he didn’t seem that drunk to me.”
It comes as a 'livid' Coleen has reportedly flown back to the UK after Wayne was charged with drink driving.
The mum-of-three, who is four months pregnant, had been on holiday in Spain with the pair's three sons, Kai, seven, Klay, four, and one-year- old Kit, when she learned of his late-night arrest.
Coleen, who flew to Mallorca last weekend, is said to be "livid and embarrassed" by the incident.
The 31-year-old's last social media post came four days ago when she shared a sweet family shot with her sons on their trip.
"Dinner with my boys," she captioned it.
Coleen was also snapped showing off her growing baby bump as she relaxed poolside.
Mirror Sport revealed her husband was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning and charged for drink driving after being stopped driving a VW Beetle.
Rooney, 31, was pulled over by police in the black vehicle at 2am on Friday morning in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
He was taken to a police station in Middlewich where he was quizzed by officers and later charged.
Rooney was seen at Italian restaurant Piccolino in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, at about 4pm, after training with Everton earlier in the day.
Later he was seen at The Bubble Room bar nearby with pals, believed to be footballer Wes Brown, who is leaving England for India, and the brother of Phil Bardsley.
A fellow customer, Shropshire cricketer Jack McIver, posted a picture of himself with Rooney at the venue on social media at 10pm.
Rooney and his pals then moved on to cocktail bar Symposium in nearby Wilmslow.
Simpson says the pair got a taxi from the bar to pick up her car.
After being pulled over, Rooney was taken to a local police station where he was quizzed by officers.
At around 1.30pm Cheshire Police announced they had charged Rooney with drink-driving.
Laura said the police drove her car to a friend’s house and she didn’t see Rooney again.
On Friday night Laura’s black convertible Beetle was parked outside her home before she was seen leaving her house to move it further down the road.
The brunette then ran back inside her home as a pal offered her a jacket to cover her head.
Rooney was picked up by agent Paul Stretford from the Middlewich Custody Suite, Cheshire, in a black Range Rover on Friday, having spent several hours in custody.
He was released on bail and is due to appear at Stockport Magistrates' Court on September 18 - the day after his first return to Old Trafford since his Manchester United departure.
The Everton striker lives a few miles away in a £6million home in Prestbury, where he, wife Coleen and his children have been for the last 12 years.

No injuries were reported when a Miamisburg school bus was hit Monday morning. STAFF PHOTO
A West Carrollton man faces charges of OVI and leaving the scene of an accident after a car hit a Miamisburg school bus Monday morning and the driver fled, records show.
No injuries were reported as the bus en route to Miamisburg Middle School was hit from behind while stopped shortly after 7:30 a.m. on King Richard Parkway near Lea Castle Place, according to a school district official.
MORE: Dayton school bus flips in accident
Roger L. Back Jr., 51, on Monday was charged with OVI and hit-skip/leaving the scene, according to Miamisburg Municipal Court records.
Miamisburg police records indicate Back was the driver of the car in the bus accident.
The number of students on the bus at the time of incident was unclear, said Miamisburg schools Director of Business Scott Gilbert, but “everybody was OK” and the bus incurred “very minor scrapes.”
Witnesses said a Honda was following closely behind the school bus when the bus stopped to pick up students, police records show. While the bus was stopped, the Honda “stopped very close” behind it, records show.
While attempting to pull around and pass the school district vehicle, the car hit the bus twice before it “backed up, pulled around the bus and left,” witnesses said in police records.
Back’s next court date is Sept. 27, court records show.
