Sheriff's new DUI unit off to fast start with five arrests
A new DUI Unit formed by the Cherokee County Sheriff Bill Blanton to combat drunk driving in Cherokee County made five arrests this past weekend. According to police reports, unit member Lt. Tim Clark arrested two people for drunk driving including a 38-year-old Enoree man stopped Feb. 1 at 9 p.m. on Highway 221 in Gaffney and a 47-year-old Gaffney man stopped Feb.
