One arrested following DUI wreck (14 WFIE Evansville)
Deputies say 42-year-old Scott Vaughn was driving on Old Madisonville Road just after 7pm CDT Friday when he lost control of his car. It flipped over several times, trapping Vaughn inside. Rescue crews got him out, but he refused medical treatment. Deputies say Vaughn admitted he was drinking. He was arrested for DUI.

The Summit County OVI Task Force netted six DUI arrests at a sobriety checkpoint set up in Akron over the weekend. In all, 1,591 vehicles passed through the checkpoint at East Exchange and Sumner streets from 8 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday.
