DUI task force nabs 567 suspects through Friday Since it's inception on Aug. 17, the Labor Day DUI task force has arrested 567 people in drunken driving incidents through Friday, according to a news release from the governor's office.
Saturday, September 1st:

Friday, August 31st:
Police to run DUI checkpoint on Labor Day weekend The Wilton Police Department will be holding a DUI checkpoint this Labor Day weekend. According to a release from the police will begin the checkpoint on Saturday, Sept. 1, and end Sunday morning.
Thursday, August 30th:
Statewide DUI crackdown nets over 800 arrests According to the Colorado Department of Transportation (C-DOT), 815 people have already been arrested in a 18-day DUI crackdown that was implemented statewide on August 17 and continues until Labor Day. Mesa County has reported 6 DUI arrest so far.
Wednesday, August 29th:
Downtown DUI checkpoint attempts to educate drivers on traffic laws Chico State student Mark Munroe has never had a DUI but knows the dangers of drinking and driving. "I use to drink and drive all the time until I messed up my car," the 22-year-old said. "I learned the hard way." Munroe said he thought the sobriety checkpoint set up on West Fifth and Orange streets on Saturday night was a good idea.
