PRATTVILLE — Prattville police have charged the Prattville High School’s head baseball coach on driving under the influence charges.
Kevin Hall was arrested Thursday morning after a vehicle accident and charged with driving under the influence, Police Chief Mark Thompson confirmed. The arrest was made about 1:40 a.m.
Hall could not be reached for comment. Prattville Municipal Court records show he doesn’t have an attorney. Superintendent Spence Agee declined comment, saying it is board of education policy not to comment on personnel matters.
Hall has been head baseball coach for four years and also serves as an assistant football coach. He is a 1995 Prattville High graduate, he also played baseball at the school, according the PHS athletics website.
Hall was hired in Prattville in 2016 after a year at Stanhope Elmore. Before that, he was the head coach at Holtville for 5 years from 2009-2015.
After graduating from Prattville, Hall played junior college ball at Central Alabama Community College(1995-1997). From there, he went on to play at the University of Georgia(1997-1998) and finished his senior season at AUM(1998-1999).
